There’s nothing like a warm apple crisp fresh from the oven to kick off fall baking! This is perfect way to welcome fall and all the warm spices that pair perfectly with apples. This easy homemade apple crips recipe is such an easy and delicious way to use apples in the fall.

With tender, cinnamon-spiced apples bubbling underneath a buttery, crumbly topping, each bite is pure cozy comfort. This recipe combines a hint of nutmeg and a touch of brown sugar, creating that perfect blend of sweetness and spice that pairs so well with tart apples. The topping bakes into a golden, crunchy layer that contrasts beautifully with the soft, juicy apples beneath. Serve it warm with a drizzle of caramel sauce and a dollop of whipped cream, and you’ve got a dessert that’s as satisfying as a slice of homemade pie but so much easier to make!

🍎 Apple Crisp Ingredients and Instructions

The most difficult part of this recipe is peeling, coring and cutting all the apples (an apple peeler makes even that part quick), but the effort is worthwhile!

A few ingredients to spice and sweeten the apples and a few more to make a crumble topping and this great-for-a-crowd dessert is ready for the oven.

📋 Caramel Makes This Crisp Even Better

Top the Apple Crisp with homemade caramel sauce and whipped cream for extra decadence. Or eat it straight from the pan while its still warm and no one else is looking! I won't tell! For the BEST caramel sauce, check out our Caramel Sauce Recipe!
